BMX Cubs Get Safety Tips

Around 20 Cub Scouts from the Slip End Scout group had a date with cycling acrobats when they took part in a BMX challenge recently. Apart from the thrill of an action packed display, the youngsters were given help with cycling safety and the importance of good maintenance.

New Arrival

It is with great pleasure that we announce the long awaited arrival of Jake Gaunt, who was born on the 14th April 2008. Congratulations to both Hannah & Steve. Jake has already been seen attending Scouting Events around the District! 

   

New Day, Time, Venue, and a New Look?

Lea Valley Explorer Scouts now have a new meeting day & time, they will be meeting on Tuesdays from 7.45pm until 9.15pm at Lea Scout HQ in Bodmin Road, Luton.

 

Members of the Explorer Unit are about to decide on their identity: the Unit's Name, Scarf Colours and design a Unit Badge.
